Color Challenge

We were given a color challenge this week at Frosted Designs.  I love color challenges and was excited to do this one, but I totally realized that it can be tough when it isn't your 'go-to' colors.  Not even secondary 'go-to' colors.  My mom loves purple, my future DIL loves purple....I like purple just fine, but don't have much in my scrapbook stash.  

But I love how things turned out. :)

I used Basic Grey's Kioshi line from last year this time.  I really like it, but often don't grab those colors.  See!  That's why a color challenge is so much fun!

I had some sparkly Thickers, but they were kind of bright next to the muted Basic Grey....so I misted them a little to give them a color more in keeping with the rest.  They still sparkle though (although you can't tell in the photo).

 I had my layout done and photographed and was cropping it in my photo program when I realized I had left the "u" out of squeezes.  Ah well, back to the camera I went.  

But my close up still has the misspelled word.
